Cost of Living Adjustment for Washington DC Metro Area

Cost of living adjustments (COLA) may vary for faculty and staff members transferring permanently to the Washington D.C. Metro area. COLA adjustments are recorded as separate “jobs” in Banner and the adjustment is removed if the faculty or staff member returns to Blacksburg. The department is responsible for submitting separate P3A forms to add and remove the COLA.
