Eminent Scholar

Faculty members who have been appointed to fellowships are identified as eminent scholars and may or may not have an additional salary supplement associated with the appointment. Endowed Professorships require the approval of the Board of Visitors. Departments are responsible for following the procedures below to have the Eminent Scholar Stipend added and/or removed. The stipend is identified as an ES job in Banner and should not be combined with the base salary.
