There are additional resources that can be used when onboarding senior and executive leaders at Virginia Tech. These resources provide more in-depth information about the culture and operational practices at the university. While designed for senior and executive leaders, you may find these resources valuable when onboarding any new leader on campus.
The below PDF guide can be shared with your new senior or executive leader as a resource. The guide contains information about Virginia Tech's history, structures such as governance and finances, procedural resources, and more. It should be shared early in the onboarding process so the leader can refer to the guide frequently.
