Dispositioning Candidates: PageUp Application Statuses

The following application status in the applicant tracking system are used to disposition candidates. Where noted below, the system will send a communication to the candidate for certain dispositions that are selected. For more information on system communications, visit the Canvas training site. 

To be used during the interview process:

Initial Interview unsuccessful Selected for initial interview, not advanced Yes
In-person Interview - Event Accepted Selected for in-person interview No

In-person interview unsuccessful Selected for in-person interview, not advanced Yes
In-person Interview 2 - Event Accepted Selected for second in-person interview No
In-person Interview 2 - Event Declined Declined second in-person interview No
In-person Interview 2 successful Selected for second in-person interview, not advanced Yes

To be used when a candidate selects interview time slot:

To be used for candidate reference checks:

Reference check - Manual Department contacts candidate for references Yes
Reference check - Automated Allow system to use references provided and send invitations Yes
Reference check unsuccessful References check could not be completed No

To be used when a candidate has been selected for hire:

Verbal Offer Department offers position; offer card is created Yes

To be used when a candidate has accepted or declined a job offer:

Pre-employment check confirmation Conviction check has been sent to candidate No

Offer rescinded Candidate accepted job offer then withdrew No

All other applicants will need to have a status selected to reflect why they were not selected for hire:
